A project running parallel to the Kruger Station development, The Train on the Bridge focuses on the 5 star International market. Situated in close proximity to Kruger Station, the Bridge House complex caters for discerning guests staying overnight in the luxurious train carriages strategically situated on the Selati Bridge suspended over the Sabie River.

A 2.5 year project in the making, Lead Catering had the opportunity to assist the developers and management team at Kruger Station in transforming the old Selati Railway Station in Skukuza into must visit and unique ‘Lifestyle Destination’ within the Kruger National Park.
Hotel Sky Sandton and Cape Town
The newest jewel in the crown of Africa’s business hub, Hotel Sky Sandton offers 453 rooms as well as 13 world-class conference venues, restaurants, bars and other facilities. Hotel Sky Cape Town boasts 540 rooms in their iconic 29-storey building in the heart of the Cape Town CBD (Opening 2021).

Personifying the Zulu meaning “Protector of all things”. Londolozi combines luxury and conservation. With various smaller camps around the Londolozi main centre, the Central Kitchen plays an intricate part in providing 5-star dining meals. With efficiency in mind and working very closely with the group executive Chief, the layout adds to the world-class service. This included extraction and refrigeration as well as storage solutions.
SANDF Tempe Military Base (Bloemfontein) Catering Refurbishment
As kitchen equipment suppliers to SANDT Tempe Military Base in Bloemfontein, Lead were contracted for the wholesale refurbishment which included supply and installation of state-of-the-art Fagor equipment in the the key areas of Food Preparation, Cooking Ware and wash areas.
Skukuza Safari Lodge, Kruger National Park
Developed as accommodation for the internationally acclaimed conference venue in Skukuza, this lodge will quickly become a must-see with unique decor and amazing food. It is set to open early 2019. This lodge will add to Kruger National Park’s already excellent accommodation selection.
Bateleur Estate, Mpumalanga
Bateleur is a unique Lifestyle Estate that offers full retirement facilities. The aim is to provide residents and Estate that encourages an active lifestyle but also has the necessary retirement facilities available should they need it in future. The kitchenettes these facilities, providing daily meals, a full service restaurant as well as special frail care kitchen. The kitchen was designed with special meals and HACCP in mind.
Kapama Karula, Kapama Private Game Reserve
This kitchen is light, airy with open spaces and views from every angle. Effortlessly elegant and stylish, Karula will steal the breath of even the most seasoned traveller. After the complete revamp, the kitchen now matches the elegance and style of the lodge. With a temperature controller pastry section and newly installed wash-up area, the kitchen is now able to keep up with the high occupancy this lodge thrives on.
Sandrivier Military Base, Mpumalanga
The Sandrivier Military Base place an important role in protecting the Greater Kruger area as well as the border between South Africa and Mozambique. Designed for bulk cooking, this kitchen provides 3 meals for a few hundred troops daily.
